Four-seat open-top fun and luxury.
Summer is coming to a close but the team at Spofec isn’t ready just yet to bid the warm weather farewell. Before the days start getting shorter, they’re showing off their new Rolls Royce Dawn upgrade program for those that want even more power, style, and luxury with their British drop-top.
Step one in the transformation involves a full carbon fiber body kit that’s been designed with the help of a wind tunnel to reduce lift and drag for greater overall stability without sacrificing style. The Spofec Rolls Royce Dawn features a confident and powerful front fascia thanks to the new replacement bumper with wide grille and low fitment.
New skirts along each side of the Spofec Rolls Royce Dawn continue the lower visual aesthetic and incorporate a new stylized air outlet that flows well with the horizontal door handles that sweep rearward. From the back, the four-seat drop-top offers a clean visual upgrade that perfectly matches its confident character. Here, a new bumper is used that sits lower than the factory unit while a subtle spoiler lip sits above to improve overall stability.
Complementing the more prominent body work for the Rolls Royce Dawn are custom-tailored Spofec SP1 wheels with a complex yet elegant ten-spoke design. Customers can order the 9.0J x 22 front and 10.5J x 22 rear SP1 wheels in matte black, silver, titanium, or mirror-polished black finishes. The 265/35 ZR22 and 295/30 ZR22 low-profile tires are also matched to the new Spofec electronic suspension module that can reduce ride height by 40 mm at speeds below 87 mph.
While luxury is the name of the game on the Spofec Rolls Royce Dawn, performance isn’t too far behind. Peering between the spokes of the SP1 wheels is the Spofec carbon ceramic brake set that includes 405 x 30 mm front and 395 x 38 mm rear ventilated discs that not only provide better, more reliable stopping power, but cut 84 lbs. of weight.
Under the hood of the Spofec Rolls Royce Dawn lies a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V-12 engine that boasts 115 horsepower and 118 lb-ft. of torque more than the stock setup. This increase in power comes as a result of a new software tune, giving the luxury convertible a total of 686 horsepower and 723 lb-ft. of torque. That’s good enough to send the Dawn to 62 mph from rest in just 4.6 seconds and to the factory electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph.
As an option, customers can choose from two exhaust setups for the Rolls Royce Dawn. A standard Spofec stainless steel exhaust cuts another 11 lbs. in weight and emits a more powerful note. An electronic sound management system is also available that allows drivers to alter the volume of the V-12 at the touch of a button as well.
The final aspect of the Spofec transformation for the Rolls Royce Dawn is the interior. Here, customers can choose from a virtually limitless palette of colors, materials, and designs that craftsman can install to create a truly unique drop-top luxury driving experience.
The full Spofec Rolls Royce Dawn upgrade program is currently available from the German tuning company as a complete package or individual accessories.
