A sharper image.

The previous-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet might be a bit underrated and forgotten about due to the large range of models from the German automaker, but MEC Design is making it quite memorable. The new MEC Design “Cerberus” is a sharp widebody convertible with an intimidating presence.

The MEC Design Cerberus is wide and beefy with a sharp-edged style that complements the factory design language. The new kit features a more imposing face thanks to a new bumper with larger air vents and a new spoiler and splitter that sits just above the pavement. As an option, LED daytime running lights can also be fitted. Above the new fascia sits a new hood with rows of air outlets on either side.

At the front and rear, the fenders have been replaced with wider components that add a more aggressive and powerful aesthetic to the MEC Design Cerberus. These are connected by a pair of deep side skirts that can be had with optional LED lights that illuminate the ground at night.

Armed with massive fenders, the team at MEC Design chose to give the Cerberus bigger wheels. So, the team opted to installed 20-inch MEC Design CCd5 three-piece wheels with new 245/35 ZR 20 front and 325/30 ZR20 rear tires. Each wheel sports a gloss black inner and outer barrels with Luxury Grey spokes. To finish off the new fitment, the entire vehicle is lowered with a new suspension kit.

The fresh new looks continue inside the cabin of the MEC Design Cerberus. Here, the Berlin-based tuners added a new black piano lacquer trim and MEC Design graphics. A new sports steering wheel wrapped in alcantara and black piano leather faces the driver while new floor mats with Nubuck edging add a higher-end feel.
